9 chicken embryos meet their demise in your jaws last night? I made half a duck that I got from Costco (precooked). It was GREAT! Duck comes split in half.
So here's the grocery list of good things to have in your fridge/freezer for good quick eats:
Costco
Morton's of Omaha pot roast
Maple Valley Farms - Duck Breast (with orange sauce)
I also make Beef Shepherd's pies from Organic Ground Beef, top with mashed cauliflower and keep a few in ramekins in my freezer. Heat up in 5 minutes and it a great meal when you have no time to think about what to eat.
I also thought you could have hit up Garcias last night on your way home! Great steak/chicken tostadas and tacos... cheap cheap.

Funny enough, I almost stopped at Garcia's on Lawrence as I drive right by there, but didn't. I get something from there almost once a week on my way home from the gym, and there revamped space on Lincoln is pretty cool too in case you haven't been there recently.
